Silver Spirit, the newest ship of Silversea joined the
fleet in late 2009. The
36,000 ton vessel has been welcomed with lavish fanfare and has exceeded
most passengers wildest wishes and dreams. The Silver Spirit and
her accommodations feature more of the popular
Silver
Suites, with a total of 26, and 222 Veranda Suites, 222.
There are also six Grand Suites and two
Owner’s
Suites. All but 12 of the 270 suites have verandas. Silver Seas
also announced that they are remodeling the other ships in the fleet and
adding additional suites, amenities and luxury items. The

THE SPA AT SILVERSEA
Relax, rejuvenate and renew all your senses. At 8,300 square feet, The
Spa is a sanctuary of pure bliss, featuring floor-to ceiling windows,
nine treatment rooms, indoor/outdoor relaxation areas, sauna, steam
rooms and an outdoor whirlpool. Indulge in a wide range of invigorating
therapies including facials, body wraps and massages. An exclusive
selection of innovative treatments featuring state-of the-art spa
technology offers the ultimate in personalized, holistic spa
experiences.
THE FITNESS CENTRE
Two aerobics studios and the latest cardio, strength and weight-training
equipment including a Kinesis Wall — an innovative way to increase
flexibility, strength and balance through zero-impact resistance
exercises. Aerobics, yoga, Pilates and circuit training led by the
onboard fitness trainer. Special classes, private fitness instruction
and personalized fitness sessions are also available.
THE POOL DECK
Plenty of teak chaise lounges and plenty of attentive service. Two

partnership with the Grands Chefs Relais & Châteaux brings you a
signature series of innovative dishes — ‘La Collection du Monde’
featured nightly in The Restaurant, as well as the perfect pairing of
renowned world wines and regionally themed gourmet favorites at the only
wine restaurant by Relais & Châteaux at sea. Onboard, an open-seating
policy frees you to select the time you choose to dine and the friends
you wish to join your table. An extensive selection of fine wines,
champagne, spirits, bottled water and soft drinks are served throughout

THE RESTAURANT

STARS SUPPER CLUB
Trendsetting menus and a relaxed atmosphere set the tone at this modern
day supper club. Arrive early for cocktails and stay late as the mood is
transformed by live music, dancing and nightclub-style entertainment.
LE CHAMPAGNE
A six-course culinary experience in an intimate setting. Fine wines are
complemented by a set tasting menu of regionally inspired dishes. (Per

SEISHIN RESTAURANT
Kobe beef, sushi and Asian seafood specialties take centre stage in this

POOL GRILL

By Night:
As daylight wanes and evening comes to life, so too do the choices

after-dinner cognac and fine cigar. It’s the rustle of evening dresses,

Silversea also provided details regarding the ship’s design. Silversea
Cruises president and CEO, Amerigo Perasso said the ship has a “family
feel” as the design mirrors the line’s existing ships but it will have a
new supper club, an Asian restaurant and an expanded spa.
In addition to introducing a new supper club and the Asian restaurant,
Silversea will reprise familiar dining venues include The Restaurant,
The Wine Restaurant and the casual Pool Grille.
The new Spa at Silversea, which premiered aboard Silver Shadow’s world
cruise last year, will be rolled out aboard the new vessel with
dramatically more space. And Silver Spirit will feature many of the same
lounges found on the line’s existing ships, including an Observation
Lounge, Vista Lounge (similar to Panorama Lounge on the current fleet),
Show Lounge, Humidor and Pool Bar, plus a new Lobby Bar styled along the
lines of a European hotel, featuring Italian coffees, champagne, wine
and spirits.
